“Products” refers to downloadable digital assets including ebooks, mock interview frameworks, guides, and spreadsheet templates sold on our marketplace.

Unless otherwise stated, Careerply owns the intellectual property rights for all material on Careerply.com. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from Careerply for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

Strict Prohibitions

You must not:

Republish or redistribute any digital products, ebooks, or content from Careerply.
Sell, rent, sub-license, or commercially exploit any material, templates, or scripts purchased from our marketplace.

Failure to comply with these copyright protection rules will result in immediate termination of account access, a permanent ban from our payment processors, and appropriate legal action for intellectual property theft.

3. Marketplace Purchases & Delivery Policy

Digital Goods: Since our products are downloadable digital assets (PDFs, Word Documents, Excel/Notion templates), all sales are considered final once delivery is executed.
Refund Policy: Due to the irrecoverable nature of digital downloads, Careerply operates a strict no-refund policy on all marketplace products, unless a technical glitch on our end prevents delivery after payment verification.
Payment Processing: All payments are securely routed through our third-party provider, Paystack. You agree to abide by their terms of service during checkout.

4. Professional Coaching & Premium Services

When purchasing premium services (such as CV writing, LinkedIn optimization, or 1-on-1 career consultations), you agree to the following operational boundaries:

Client Cooperation: You must provide accurate, up-to-date professional histories, qualifications, and communication data within the timelines requested by your assigned consultant. Delayed responses may result in the rescheduling of your service delivery.
Accountability: While we provide expert optimization based on modern recruiting practices, you are responsible for cross-checking the final accuracy of facts stated in your revamped CV or LinkedIn profile before submitting them to prospective employers.

5. Critical Service Disclaimers (No Job Guarantees)

To protect both parties, Careerply sets explicit boundaries regarding employment outcomes:

No Recruitment Authority: Careerply is not a hiring agency, employer, or corporate recruiter. We provide career optimization, training, and curated job updates. We refer users to external hiring portals (such as corporate databases or government boards like CDCFIB), but we do not execute the hiring process.
No Guarantee of Employment: While our strategic preparation is optimized to confidently guide clients up to the interview stage, final recruitment decisions rest solely with prospective employers. Careerply explicitly disclaims any liability or financial responsibility if a user fails to secure employment after using our tools, tips, services, or marketplace products.

6. External Links & Third-Party Applications

Our website and blog posts frequently contain referral hyperlinks to external platforms and job application portals (e.g., Mercor, civil service boards, global job networks).

We have no control over the nature, content, uptime, or privacy mechanisms of those independent domains.
